The seed was planted to train as an independent funeral celebrant after the deaths of my husband and father; both of whom had civil funeral ceremonies.
My career background is office-based, but like many people I have experienced pain and loss. Through this, I have grown and have been able to utilise my knowledge, understanding, learning and wisdom within other areas of my life.
I have trained and qualified with the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants, adhering to the The UK College of Celebrancy's Code of Ethics and Conduct. I endorse Personal Best Practice and Continuous Improvement by way of workshops, conventions and conferences.
I am an active member of The Good Funeral Guild, a collective of like-minded people working to change funerals for the better. Likewise I have formed a support group for Worcester based celebrants, working towards the common good of the work that we do.
I live in the Worcestershire countryside with my husband Mike, our two dogs Charlie and Jack and a scattering of
chickens. I love walking and never tire of the countryside around me. And as the photo suggests my other passion are dogs (although Charlie the Horse just had to have a look in too!).
